The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) has officially announced the nominees for the National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA) 2025, a prestigious platform that honours excellence across South Africa’s vibrant creative industries.
Among the celebrated nominees are four AFDA alumni whose work continues to shape the local and international film landscape:

The NACA Awards, widely regarded as a highlight on the national arts calendar, celebrate creativity across multiple disciplines, including literature, visual arts, performance, heritage, film, and design.
