Zureta’s outstanding work earned her a Primetime Emmy nomination (2009) for Outstanding Costumes for a Series for The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency pilot.

As a character design alumna, Zureta is celebrated alongside other distinguished AFDA graduates, such as Martha Sibanyoni and Trevor Stuurman; all have made significant contributions in film, fashion, and creative direction. Her transition from South African-based productions to big-budget international series demonstrates her adaptability and the global recognition of her craft.
