AFDA Graduation Festival Awards Winners 2021

Dec 4, 2021 | Awards, Events, Film School, News, School of Live Performance

The annual AFDA Graduation Festival 2021 closed the curtain last night, celebrating another successful festival with the AFDA Awards. The awards ceremonies took place on our Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Gqeberha campuses and were also streamed online.

“The AFDA Graduation Festival which culminates with the AFDA Awards is truly one of my favorite times of the year. I watched it all – 11 glorious days of music, theatre, business innovation, entrepreneurship, television and film. The work made us weep, shudder, laugh, think and gasp. I was in awe, transported and transfixed, and very proud to be part of this creative community.  The joy of the music performances, the intimacy of the theatre productions, the intensity of the business presentations and the celebrations at the film and television drive-in will remain with me for a long time.” says AFDA Cape Town Dean, Diaan Lawrenson.

Congratulations to all the award winners to all the AFDA staff and students. Here are the award winners.
