AFDA BCom graduate Khotso Moeketsi is in business and on the move
.
Khotso Roger Moeketsi graduated with a BCom in Business Innovation degree from AFDA Johannesburg in 2019 and began seeking a gap in the market to innovate a sustainable business. He dived into the blue ocean space by maximizing safe transportation and logistics in townships to assist local township businesses and homeowners who needed accessible, legitimate, and affordable transportation.
.
Seeing few barriers to entry into the transportation of goods market, Khotso took the bull by the horns and established his own company, Precious Cargo Transportation, in August 2020, and he means business.
.
“Having worked hand-in-hand with FastWay Couriers and Blue Breeze Cleaning Services as a sub-contracting company, the experience gave further insight in learning the logistics of courier services. Precious Cargo Transporting has established new networks with our main goal being client retention whilst increasing our social media presence and our geographical footprint. I believe the business is addressing transportation needs in townships, small businesses, residential moves and day-to-day furniture transportation.” says Khotso
.
Clients like Dimakatso Songoane are extremely satisfied with their services. “We got such great service from Precious Cargo Transporting. They were very quick in responding to us in our time of need and were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of transportation.”
.
“Our economy is in desperate need of young business men and women to create job opportunities whilst implementing technological advancements. Young people can start businesses with minimal resources that raise capital to fund their bigger business idea.” says Khotso.
