AFDA is excited to invite you to our first Open Day of 2023 so you can gain more insight into what it takes to break into the creative industries with AFDA, the No 1 School for the Creative Economy.
You will not only have the opportunity to discover how AFDA’s award-winning lecturers, state of the art equipment and facilities are all specifically geared to equip you to become the next award-winning filmmaker, performer, business pioneer, or storyteller.
During the course of the day, you will learn about the different AFDA Schools and the programmes offered in each School:
- The AFDA Film School
- The AFDA School of Live Performance
- The AFDA School of Business & Innovation
- The AFDA School of Creative Writing
Some of the Open Day activities you can look forward to:
- Gear Expo: live demonstrations of industry-standard equipment used to shoot and produce Oscar Award winning feature films & local and international blockbusters
- Campus Tour: Take in the #HumansOfAFDA vibe and view our state-of-the-art facilities
- Q&A sessions with our industry experienced staff, including the Campus Dean, Programme Coordinators and discipline lecturers
- Film Screenings and Q&A sessions with our 3rd Year and Honours Students
