At AFDA Open Day you will discover how AFDA’s award-winning lecturers, state of the art equipment and facilities are all specifically geared to equip you to become the next award-winning filmmaker, performer, business pioneer, or storyteller.
During the course of the day, you will learn about the different AFDA Schools and the programmes offered in each School:
- The AFDA Film School
- The AFDA School of Live Performance
- The AFDA School of Business & Innovation
- The AFDA School of Creative Writing
Some of the Open Day activities you can look forward to:
- Gear Expo: live demonstrations of industry-standard equipment used to shoot and produce Oscar Award winning feature films & local and international blockbusters
- Campus Tour: Take in the #HumansOfAFDA vibe and view our state-of-the-art facilities
- Q&A sessions with our industry experienced staff, including the Campus Dean, Programme Coordinators and discipline lecturers
- Film Screenings and Q&A sessions with our 3rd Year and Honours Students
