The applicant agrees to the following terms and conditions for the bursary award and to accept the bursary.
- The applicant must have attended the AFDA Hatfield Campus Open Day on 4 October 2025.
- The application form must be signed by the applicant and the parent or guardian if the applicant is under 18 years of age.
- The applicant must meet the entry requirements for the AFDA qualification for which they intend to enrol.
- If the applicant is not a South African Citizen, they also must have secured a Study VISA to attend AFDA.
- The bursary cannot be rolled over to another year.
- The applicant accepts the responsibility to meet the cost of the remaining portion of the tuition fee.
- The applicant accepts the responsibility to meet all other costs related to studying at AFDA, including accommodation, transport and food.
- The applicant agrees to participate in AFDA publicity related to being awarded the bursary.
- The applicant agrees to be an ambassador to promote AFDA’s reputation and Brand image while studying at AFDA.
- The applicant agrees that the award of funding beyond 2026 will be at the discretion of AFDA and dependent on the qualification they pursue and their marks.
- Should the applicant not complete enrolment and not be present on the AFDA campus at the start of the 2026 term, the bursary will be forfeited.
- Should the applicant become involved in serious misconduct relating to their work or behaviour on campus, the bursary will be forfeited.
- The applicant acknowledges that the decision of the Selection Committee in making the bursary award if final.
