The Empty

THE EMPTY is a short film about the nature of regret and the unpredictability of life. The film tells the story of a young woman - Lerato - who is tragically involved in a fatal car accident. She walks through the space between life and death, watching moments from her life play out in front of her. These events range from her childhood to adulthood, and the nature of the broken down relationship between Lerato and her sister is revealed. The film moves between past and present - between happiness and hostility - telling the story of how anger and unforgiveness led to ultimate regret.
