A young man, Melo, travels through purgatory in search of the soul of his dead lover. He encounters an unorthodox Prophet who tricks him into believing that he has the solution to bring his Lover back to him. After being tricked by the Prophet and being sent into the deeper depths of purgatory, Melo meets a Beggar Wizard who guides him towards the answer he seeks. Melo accepts that he cannot regain what he has lost and needs to forge a new path through life while processing the loss in a healthy manner.
